BREITLING NEWS - SUPEROCEAN HÉRITAGE CHRONOGRAPH EDITION LIMITÉE

1957. Having establishing its mastery of the skies, Breitling set off to conquer the seas by launching the Superocean, a professional diver’s watch that also gained a following among the first scuba diving enthusiasts. Some 50 years later, under the “Héritage” banner, this same design still holds a special place among Breitling’s “instruments for professionals”. In celebrating its 125th anniversary, Breitling has chosen to issue a limited series of this great classic. Like the original model, this Superocean Héritage Chronographe carries the historical Breitling signature topped by the stylized letter B in 18-carat gold, and also features the same luminescent triangular hour hand that already enabled unequivocal read-off even in the darkness prevailing at great depths. Another characteristic detail lies in the dial with its two counters arranged horizontally at 9 and 3 o’clock, available in Volcano black, Stratus silver and Gun blue versions and produced in limited series of 1,000 in each of these shades.


The equally exclusive choice of wristbands comprises the Ocean Classic in woven steel reflecting the original bracelet and lending the watch its unique appearance; and the Ocean Racer rubber strap with its resolutely sporting style. The distinctive design of the Superocean Héritage Chronographe is matched by its technical performances. Woody Allen (born Allen Stewart Konigsberg; December 1, 1935) is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, comedian, writer, musician and playwright who writes and directs his movies and has also acted in the majority of them. Allen was born and raised in New York City, the son of Nettie (a bookkeeper) and Martin Konigsberg (a jewellery engraver and waiter). After high school, he went to New York University (NYU), where he studied communication and film. He was never committed as a student, so he failed a film course, and was eventually expelled.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

After finishing his third London film, Allen headed to Spain. He reached an agreement to film Vicky Cristina Barcelona, in Barcelona and Oviedo, where shooting started on July 9, 2007. Starring international actors and actresses as Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Hall and Penélope Cruz, the plot centres on two North American women, Vicky and Cristina, spending a summer in Barcelona. They both meet an artist who is attracted to both of them while still enamoured of his mentally and emotionally unstable ex-wife María Elena. Vicky Cristina Barcelona was more than well received, winning "Best Musical or Comedy" at the Golden Globe awards. Penélope Cruz received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.

The first race in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo got off to a flying start in Italy on Saturday May 16th, organised within the FIA GT championship on the famous Adria racing track. As title sponsor of a championship that is truly unique in the world, Blancpain is proud to be participating in this international sports event. Its President and CEO Marc A. Hayek took the wheel of a gleaming Gallardo LP560-4 decked out in the livery of the Manufacture Blancpain. Competing alongside famous driver Peter Kox from the Netherlands, Marc A. Hayek placed third after the second round.
